Raul Contreras of Streator is the new Rock Star.
He bested three other finalists to take home a trophy and a $500 grand prize for winning Starved Rock's favorite winter singing competition Rock Star. A large crowd at Starved Rock Lodge enjoyed the finale with Savanna Sondgeroth finishing runner up.
Contreras took home an additional $100 for being voted the Jessica Strauch State Farm Fan Favorite. Starved Rock Lodge and Euclid Beverage joined Starved Rock Media in presenting Rock Star 2023.
