A Mendota man who's been arrested twice recently for brawling at area bars is in trouble again, this time at home.
Early Monday night, Mendota police responded to a 9-1-1 call about a physical altercation at a home in the 400 block of 4th Avenue. There, they found 22-year-old Myron Lesley, Jr., and arrested him on suspicion of domestic battery. Police took him to the Mendota Police Department for processing before taking him to the La Salle County Jail.
On October 9, Lesley was ticketed for disturbing the peace as part of an ugly brawl at RePhils Bar on First Street in La Salle. Just two weeks after that arrest, on October 23, Lesley was picked up at Spike's Tavern in Peru. In that case, he's accused of battery, felony resisting arrest and criminal damage to property.
For now, Myron Lesley, Jr. sits in jail in Ottawa. No bond has been set as of late Tuesday morning.
