If you're eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination, there's a new option for where you get your shot.
The state has announced a partnership with Hy-Vee pharmacies to offer vaccinations in Peru and other store locations across the state. Vaccinations at Hy-Vee are supposed to start Wednesday. State officials estimate the pharmacy can do up to 200 vaccinations a day.
Walgreens is also making itself available as a vaccination clinic. However none of the Walgreens in Starved Rock Country are listed yet by the state as offering the vaccination.
