The fate of a business in Utica is still up in the air.
A hearing regarding the suspension or possible revocation of a business license for the “CBD Joint” has been postponed to a later date. A Government Affairs Committee in Utica was supposed to meet Friday afternoon to talk about the now closed store on South Clark Street.
Utica Police Chief Rodney Damron claims the business sold illegal drugs, including pot or products containing THC to underage customers. In response, the “CBD Joint” has been labeled as a “nuisance, a clear and present danger to the public health, safety or general welfare.”
