An alleged meth dealer was picked up during a traffic stop in La Salle.
Members of the La Salle Police Department teamed up with the Tri-DENT task force to arrest 50-year-old Christopher Brockman of La Salle, formerly of Ottawa. He's accused of having meth ready to sale in his vehicle when pulled over on St. Vincent's Avenue on Thursday. Brockman is charged with a Class X felony which can bring up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
He has prior felony convictions in La Salle County for burglary and unlawful restraint.
