There will soon be one less place to buy clothes in Starved Rock Country.
The company Christopher & Banks field for Chapter 11 reorganization on Wednesday. More than 400 stores are on a closure list including the one inside the Peru Mall. Christopher & Banks locations in Bloomington and Sterling are also closing.
The clothing company has been around since 1956.
